Thursday July 10th, 2008 - CASA Aviation Seminar - Operations In & Around controlled Airspace :: Situational Awareness. Two valuable safety presentations from the CASA safety folk - Tim Penney and Mike White.
Sunday November 25th, 2007 - Fly In and BBQ at Boobyalla (Tomahawk). Thanks again, to all those that attended. Around 37 aircraft attended the day, which is a great achievement.
Saturday 8th December, 2007 - Club Annual Dinner. Thanks to all those members that attended the Annual Dinner. This year we celebrated the Club's 80th year! Well done to award winners on the night. Gene Cairns for his achievements thoughout the past year and Bill McKinnon for his exceptional BBQ skills showed at all our events!
Saturday 20th October 2007 - Just a note to say thanks to all that helped out, flew in and attended the highly successful Open Day at the Club. We had approximately 600 people come through the between 10.00am and 4.00pm that enjoyed the Static displays and range of aircraft to look at. It was great to see support from members that donated prizes for the raffles and food for the BBQ. Also Launceston Airport operations and Tower staff helped make the day run smoothly without any problems. If anyone has any pictures from the day that they would like to share, please contact Tony via email.
